For more information go to www.electroluxgroup.com.Organization and role:We are a small and tight-knit team in Kyiv (Ukraine), handling day-to-day bookings of transactions in the company’s ERP system (SAP). We cooperate with a global shared-service centre (GSSC) in Krakow, that aggregates and analyzes the financial data for Electrolux’s group management.Part of our purpose is also to support our colleagues in Krakow with knowledge of the local Ukrainian rules and regulations, working like a bridge between the GSSC and the local business (and its suppliers/customers).We are now looking for an accountant to join our Team! With our size and widespread operations, we can offer a workplace where you can learn and grow, supporting and cooperating with various functions and geographies.What you'll do:Your main focus is to ensure a timely, effective and reliable processing of accounting operations, as well as preparing corporate, statutory and tax reporting. Your responsibilities include:Receiving, validating, scanning and archiving primary accounting documents, as well as controlling accuracy of incoming accounting documentationProcessing electronic document flow (Vchasno service\M.E.doc\Comarch)Processing the Accounts payable/receivable activitiesProcessing travel expenses (receive, validate, booking check, archive)Preparing of account statements for suppliers, analyzing and solving different issues regarding supplies related to payments and debtsProcessing paymentsReceiving, checking and archiving the primary documents related to fixed assetsCoordinating the fixed assets tasks (acquisition, write-offs, disposal), as well as taking part in the annual Fixed-Assets checking procedureManaging period-end closing routinesProviding relevant management informationTaking part in preparing and providing statutory and financial reporting in accordance with Ukrainian law and according to IFRS rules.Checking VAT liabilities, back-up for preparing VAT liabilities, registration of VATnotes, and VAT notes for correctionEnsuring that all processes/activities are mapped/described in Desk Top procedures (internal process documents)Support and coordination daily routines for the global shares service center (GSSC) in KrakowAdditional, Occasional Responsibilities Outside Of Standard Job ResponsibilitiesActively support in the execution of accounting tasks if required (tied to your specific knowledge of local rules and regulations)Continuous improvement of the processes and work efficiencyParticipate in the development of IT systems for accounting needs, in cooperation with Controlling and ITProvide proposals for optimization of accounting processesProvide skills transfer to GSSCQualifications:Academic degree in Business Administration, preferably accounting or financeAt least one year of working experience in accounting (AP/AR/GL, tax accounting etc.)Fluent in Ukrainian and working proficiency in EnglishExperienced user in MS office, M.E.doc and any form of ERP systemPosition details:You will report to the chief accountant and be based at our Kyiv office, situated in Business Center SP Hall, Stepana Bandery Avenue 28A (near Pochaina subway station).For the time being, you will work from home, but with the opportunity to visit the office when needed.This is a temporary position which lasts 1,5 years, with good chances of turning into a permanent position at a later stage.Benefits highlights: Discounts on our award-winning Electrolux products and services Family and health friendly benefits Extensive learning opportunities and flexible career pathAs part of Electrolux, we will continuously invest in you and your development.
