We are currently looking for an Android Developer to join the Promova team. >. The primary goal of this role is to help the Android development team achieve goals, monetize this direction, and initiate/implement solutions that improve development process and speed.

Promova — a language learning platform consisting of a mobile application, a website, group courses and individual lessons with tutors, as well as media and social networks. The application has already been downloaded more than 14 million times, and users have completed 35 million lessons with us. The goal of the team for the next 2 years is to occupy the top 5 position among online services for learning foreign languages. And over the next 5 years, we want to achieve the status of a unicorn company with Ukrainian roots.

Your area of ​​influence:

• Participation in designing the functionality of the application;
• Use of UI/UX solutions in communication with the designer;
• Search and implementation of optimal technical solutions (quality/speed);
• li>Implementing A/B tests for product monetization;
• Increasing product retention with new squad;

• Working and interacting in a strong, friendly team.

   

For this you will need:

• From 2 years of experience as an Android Developer;< /li>
• Good knowledge of Kotlin, Android SDK;
• Knowledge and practice of using OOP, data structures, templates and design principles (SOLID, Clean Architecture);
• Experience of using one with MVVM / MVI / Redux approaches;
• Skills in working with data storage tools: File, SQLite (Room), Preferences etc;
• Experience in developing non-standard interfaces and animations, including with using Jetpack Compose;
• Understanding the operation of popular libraries - Jetpack Components, Retrofit, Firebase etc;
• Skills for working with Coroutines, Flow.
