Additionally, users will have the option to sign medical information release forms within the app.The central function of the app will be a big, centralized switch on the main screen, allowing users to activate or deactivate data recording which should be collected even in the background. Once activated, the app will begin collecting and storing information from various modalities.Modalities Being Recorded:1. Unlock Attempts: Record both the percentage of successful and unsuccessful attempts. Capture the net number of successful and unsuccessful unlock attempts. Capture unlock modality (e.g., swipe, facial recognition, passcode).2. Falls Categorization: Categorize different types of falls. Implement a fall count feature and a fall risk assessment tool.3. Device Drop Data: Utilize accelerometer/gyrometer/altimeter data to approximate phone dropping. Capture instances of the device being dropped.4. Typing Speed and Accuracy: Measure typing speed and accuracy. Monitor duration and strength of key presses. Monitor typos. Track backspace or delete key use. Monitor multiple keys hit at once.5. Swipe Motion Sensing: Capture the smoothness and duration of swipe motions. Record the location of swipes on the screen to detect any neglect of certain screen areas.6. Physical Activities Monitoring: Record walking, running, and ability to pick up objects. Track daily physical activity levels.7. Communication and Social Interaction: Utilize voice recognition and sound data to detect voice pattern changes. Assess speech patterns and detect slurred speech. Evaluate the ability to interact with others.8. Medication Reminders: Implement medication reminder functionalities. Monitor medication adherence.To offer flexibility and control, the app will provide individual switches for each separate modality being recorded. Users can customize their data collection preferences based on their specific needs. Additionally, there will be a switch for automatic upload ofsensor information to the user's designated medical office, ensuring seamless sharing of data while prioritizing patient privacy and confidentiality.For added convenience, a master switch will be included to toggle all modalities on or off simultaneously, streamlining the process for users who wish to enable or disable all data collection at once.Integration of profile setup, data collection switches, and data upload functionalities will ensure a user-friendly experience.
