SnapAds is looking for a talented professional to join our team as an Android developer
SnapAds is a  social media marketing SAAS platform for the local US market. The platform’s main focus is to allow any social media user to create content for a local business (our platform connects businesses with creators) and aspiring bloggers can start their careers with us. With that said any local business can get good local advertising that converts.

Your team: CTO, 2 Back-end Developers, 1 Front-end Developer, 1 IOS Developer, 1 QA Engineer, 1 Product Designer, 2 Product Managers.

Requirements:

— 3+ years of experience as an Android Developer.

— English level — Intermediate +.

— Proficiency in Kotlin.

— Understanding of  basics.

— Experience with REST, JSON, and REST API principles.

— Knowledge of Android security practices, secure coding, encryption, and data storage.

— Proficiency in Git and knowledge of basic CLI tools.

— Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and authentication strategies.

— Solid grasp of the mobile development lifecycle.

— Testing, debugging, and database management skills.

— Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.

— Ability to adapt to evolving startup goals and project requirements.

— Experience with Java 8.

— Experience with these technologies: Retrofit 2, Mapbox, Adapter delegate, Room, ExoPlayer, Camera 2 API, Glide, RxKotlin, Coroutines, Koin, Paging 3, MVVM by Google.

Will be a plus:

— GraphQL, JSON: API experience.

— GEO JSON experience.

Responsibilities:

— Writing and testing the code, and managing version control.

— Interpreting business tasks and requirements effectively.

— Designing user interfaces that align with project objectives.

— Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code.

— Manage version control using Git effectively.

— Balance technical aspects of app development with project management skills.
