Android Applications Engineer in Huawei

You will be responsible for detecting dependencies problems between 3rd party applications and the Android system. That includes debugging, optimizations and their dependencies in the Huawei framework. Most of your working time will be devoted to dealing with issues coming from the field. You will analyze them, find the root cause and propose solutions and final fixes.

• At least 3 years of experience with Android OS
• Development/maintenance experience in the following areas: finance (banking, payment), social media (chats, audio/video calls), multimedia (player, gallery)
• Experience in 3rd party application analysis: reverse engineering (APK Tool)
• Good command of Java/C/C++ (standard libraries)
• Knowledge of Gradle/Ant/Make Build
• Self-reliance in performing tasks with the ability to identify risks and issues. Capable of working under minimal supervision
• Attention to details and a strong focus on solution delivery. Professional & and proactive approach to tasks appointed
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Communicative English

Nice to have:

• Prior work and experience in the delivery or maintenance team (ideally the one dealing with a mobile phone system’s maintenance)
• Be familiar with functionality changes across the recent AOSP versions
• Knowledge of connectivity protocols: BT, WiFi
