As soon as we have a suitable vacancy, we will actively reach out to you, discuss the position, your interest, and availability.About the jobThe ICRC Analysis & Evidence and Accountability for Affected People Unit is and looking for A&E Specialist. In close collaboration with the team members and the line managers, an A&E Specialist supports A&E Coordinators and more senior A&E Specialists on matters such as needs assessments, monitoring, evaluation, situation and problem analysis, and operational information management needed to ensure evidence-based and outcome-oriented programs at regional or local scale. Your Tasks and ResponsibilitiesOversee or implement one or more strategic priorities of the global or regional A&E teams, ensuring their applicability and leading their implementationSupport and advise on the implementation of needs assessments, situation-and-problem analysis, monitoring frameworks and logic models, and provide other technical guidance in line with A&E standardsProvide technical guidance to delegation to strengthen A&E capacity and visibility within the organization in the countryAssist or deliver workshops and trainings in his/her specific area of responsibilitySupport the development guidelines, tools and training modules for the staff in A&E Unit and the Protection, and the Essential Services Department more broadly, within his/her area of responsibilitySupport thematic reviews and centralized evaluations for internal learning and strategic, and operational decision-makingSupport the A&E Coordinator on the definition of thematic strategies linked to one or more priorities of the delegation A&E teams, ensuring their applicability, and supporting their implementationSupport the A&E Coordinator on the implementation of needs assessments, situation and problem analysis, monitoring frameworks, logic models, and other technical guidance aligned to A&E standardsMight functionally manage analysis and evidence staff in his/her area of responsibility at delegation and sub-structure levelProvide support to A&E Coordinators in advising in delegation management, strengthening the institutional capacity and visibility of A&E in their specific area of responsibilityWhat we offer youEmployment contract according to Ukrainian labor lawFlexible working arrangementsAnnual paid 20 working days' vacationCompetitive salary based on your qualifications and experienceMedical insurance for employees and familyICRC Institutional trainingIndividual development covered by ICRCForeign language coursesConvenient office location in the city centerAbout youTo be successful in this Roster and Pool recruitment, you should possess the following qualifications and experiences and have the following characteristics: Ukrainian citizenship or permanent residence permit in UkraineAdvanced university degree in International Relations, Economics, Social Sciences, Political Science, and other related field of studies.4-10 years professional experience, including 2-5 years background in needs assessments, situation-and-problem analysis, monitoring and evaluation, operational information managementProven field experience in supporting surveys and multiple assessments in different countries, including design, data collection, and analysis.Relevant experience in humanitarian or other non-profit organizations.Proven understanding of quantitative and qualitative analysisExperience in analyzing, interpreting, and presenting information for decision making purposes.Participation in the design and implementation of economic security, water-and-habitat, protection, health, and/or weapon-contamination programs, or similar programs in other organization.Good command (written and spoken) of English and Ukrainian. Russian is an assetExperience in statistical analysis or coding languages and mapping software (such as SPSS, Stata, R, SQL, Phyton) is an assetPrevious experience in Geospatial analysis and familiarity with ArcGIS is an assetInterested?
