Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience with Python;
• Experience using ML in production;
• Ability to write production level code in Python;
• AI/ML personalization systems at scale;
• Strong background in Machine Learning and Software Engineering;
• Experience with the best practices in software development, including version control, testing, and continuous integration;
• Fundamental knowledge of Data Science;
• Proactive attitude to challenge assumptions and come up with solutions.

Will be plus

• Experience with Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) (Weights & Biases and etc.);
• Experience with vision-language model for recommendation applications;
• Experience with Rewards Models in Reinforcement Learning applications;
• End-to-end experience in training, evaluating, testing, and deploying ML solutions in production;
• Experience with the Hugging Face libraries, etc.;
• Experience with AI pipelines, Backend and AWS.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities:

• Write production code that meets our company’s high-quality and maintainability standards;
• AI/ML engineering, inference, tuning and training models. Optimization models;
• Deploy models in production environments;
• Drive the adoption of best practices in AI model development, and maintenance, staying abreast of the latest industry trends and research;
• Create and Improve our MLOps infrastructure to have a solid feedback loop with the most appropriate metrics to keep optimizing each use case;
• Work collaboratively with other squads and technical chapters;
• You will be part of a mission driven Agile team (Scrum/Kanban).

Design Leadership:

• Propose and evaluate solutions for design challenges, leveraging your expertise to identify and assess new technologies and third-party components;
• Present designs to the tech team, contributing to the strategic alignment of technical decisions.

Standards and Best Practices:

• Advocate for and establish standards within the team and the broader tech community;
• Address operational aspects, prioritizing concerns such as technical debt, non-functional requirements, and the production environment’s performance.
