AI/ML Consultant (Remote) in IT Craft

Join our dynamic team as an AI/ML consultant to play a key role in launching a new project. You will lead our team from project inception to success and possibly help us build a dedicated AI/ML department. Your experience and leadership qualities will be critical in building the foundation for our innovative endeavors.

We are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML professional with a deep understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning, in particular in the field of image and sound recognition, to work on innovative projects on forecast analysis for a local municipality. We expect the consultant to have significant experience in developing and implementing ML models that can efficiently process and analyze vast amounts of visual and audio data to assist in urban planning, public safety and infrastructure management.

Experience and qualifications:

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience with a significant focus on artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies;
• Strong knowledge of machine learning principles, neural networks and deep learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or Keras;
• Demonstrated experience in image and audio recognition technologies, with the ability to develop and deploy models that can accurately analyze and interpret data;
• Experience with methods predictive analytics and their application in real-world scenarios;
• Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) will be an advantage as it can improve interaction with diverse data sets and integration of text analytics;
• Proven work experience with large data sets and complex algorithms, the ability to optimize ML models for performance and accuracy;
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or Java, with additional experience with software development environments and tools;
• li>Knowledge of data engineering, including data collection, processing and storage solutions;
• Experience with cloud and on-premises computing platforms and understanding of their use to scale AI/ML solutions;
• Competence in using APIs and common software development kits to integrate AI functionality into broader applications;
• Availability of public data on AI/ML projects completed in recent years and AI/ML certifications;
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, fluency in English at Upper-intermediate level or above;
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and interact with stakeholders to identify requirements and provide solutions.
