As an AI Engineering Manager, you will  combine technical expertise in software development and AI with effective team leadership . You will receive robust support from our VP of Engineering and collaborate closely with three other Engineering Managers, enhancing our dynamic leadership structure.In your pivotal role, you will lead a talented team of six engineers, guiding them not only in technical tasks but also in their professional growth. As a mentor, you will challenge their ideas and support them in designing solutions and discovering new possibilities. Location

While our team is geographically dispersed, we are seeking candidates based in Poland for this specific role. Our engineering team is also predominantly located in Poland, which fosters a collaborative and closely-knit working environment within the region. Experience

• Master's or PhD Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, with a strong foundation in Python programming, coupled with 6+ years of hands-on technical engineering experience.
• Proven track record of successfully leading engineering and data science teams for a minimum of 3 years, demonstrating the ability to motivate, guide, and mentor team members to achieve project goals.
• Demonstrated expertise in leading AI projects from inception to deployment and maintenance in a production environment, including proficiency in project planning methodologies and driving improvements in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
• Experience in implementing and deploying solutions within the cloud environment (preferably Google Cloud Platform), showcasing the ability to leverage cloud-based tools and services for scalable AI applications.
• Practical experience with privacy standards such as SOC2, ISO, and GDPR, ensuring compliance and data protection throughout SDLC.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and alignment with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
• Fluency in English with a proficiency at the C1 level, both written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Experience working with Large Language Models and Natural Language Processing
• Experience implementing MLOps best practices 
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices
