We’re looking for Mid-level AI developer to help our client boost their product in miltech.
You will work with software and robotics company specializing in robotic solutions for demining territories.

• Developing self-driving capabilities.
• Identifying landmines using camera information, including videos and photos captured by the robot.This role involves working with a tech stack that includes ROS2, Python, and C++ . The role involves utilizing open-source solutions and integrating these systems with our existing teleoperations and control frameworks.

What you’ll do in this role :

• Develop and implement self-driving algorithms and systems for robotic demining platforms.
• Work on visual SLAM and computer vision tasks to enhance the autonomy of our machines.
• Develop processes for handling mines, such as using SLAM to place them on a map accurately.
• Build a system (open-source solutions are acceptable) that processes videos and images to train our system to build a database and identify mines, grenades, bombs, etc.
• Collaborate with the team to integrate new functionalities with existing video streaming and control systems.
• Assist in setting up initial requirements and architecture with the support of senior tech leads.
• Participate in data processing once datasets become available.

We’re looking for:

• Proficiency in ROS2, Python, and C++.
• Background in robotics or AI is preferred, especially in autonomous motion, visual SLAM, or computer vision.
• Familiarity with open-source solutions and their integration into larger projects.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently without constant supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and innovatively.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams.
