Job DescriptionJob Description – Memphis, TNPay Rate: $16 - $17.00 / HRDuration: Up to two yearsHours: Monday through Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm (No OT or weekend expected)Pay Rate: $16/hr or $17/hr with 4-year degree or relevant experienceMedical Requirement: drug testQualifications: Recent college graduates with related major and those no degree but with related experiences in greenhouse or field. Also, those who have worked in a production facility (Nike, FedEx etc) tend to work well with sampling too.Interviews: In-personWork Site Address:Client7608 Smythe Farm RoadMemphis, TN 38120This position will be working in and out of a greenhouse performing the following duties:Sampling genetically engineered plant tissue for DNA and Protein testing in search of desired traits.Planting engineered cotton seeds and maintaining suitable conditions for proper growth.Preparing buffer solution to extract protein from cotton leaf.Assisting in plant selection, transplanting, plant placement, trellising, plant care, trashing plants and cleaning.Candidates must work well with others, pay attention to detail, and be able to stand for long periods of time.The environment can be very hot when working in the greenhouse.Company DescriptionAA2IT is in this business to make you successful.
