Brief description of the implementation of the TBPeopleUkraine project

Organization and implementation of community-led activities within the projectTAG, aimed at increasing medical literacy, motivation for treatment and psychosocial support of people affected by tuberculosis, with the involvement of representatives of the TB community and partner organizations.

The goal of the activity

Ensuring the implementation of a community-led approach through the involvement of activists from among the TB community, informing people with TB about treatment, and collecting feedback?regarding community needs and barriers.

February 2026 - September 2026

The purpose of the competition

Selection of community-led activities font-style: text-decoration">TAG, aimed at raising awareness of TB and reducing barriers to treatment

Part-time

 Participating in the preparation and holding ofgroup events / meetings for people with TB

?  Ensure the establishment and coordination of interaction with the phthisiopulmonary institution regarding the organization and conduct of three group support sessions for people affected by tuberculosis.

?  Co-moderation ofsupport groups together with a psychologist

?  Providing information to TV people about:

  • going through treatment

  • patient rights

  • available medical, social and legal services

? Explanation of the possibilities of receiving help, including psychological, through the OneImpactUkraine system

? Collecting and handing over to the project teamfeedback from the TV community about the barriers, needs and challenges faced by people with TB

? Helping to attract people from TV to participate in project activities

?  Representation community experience within TAG consultations and discussions

? Adherence to the principles of confidentiality, ethics and non-discriminatory approach

Requirements for candidates

  • Belonging to the TB community or experience working with people affected by TB

  • Understanding the treatment process and challenges faced by people with TB

  • Willingness to work with sensitive information

  • Communication and responsibility

  • Willingness to work in a team with a psychologist and project coordinators

  • Experience with OneImpactUkraine will be an advantage
