Job DescriptionAn established mechanical contractor specializing in HVAC construction, installation, and maintenance for the NY Tri-State area is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of an Accounts Receivable position on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be reporting to the Controller.Description:Responsible for all Accounts Receivable activities for the companyReconciliation of individual accountsBank DepositsFollow established procedures for processing receipts, checks, wire transfers, etc. Communicate and follow up with contractors and vendors regarding paymentPresent and review monthly reportsQualification:Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounts payable with a working background in a construction company or related industryAbility to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent verbal and written communication skillsShould be well versed in computer usage and software such as Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with Sage 100 software is a plusOur Company offers:Medical / Dental / VisionEmployee Stock Ownership401(k)Paid Time OffThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by people assigned to this classification.
