This individual will also be a Team Leader and work across a variety of assignments and assist multiple business owners and their companies. OTB is a growing firm in the realm of business accounting services specializing in the construction and trades industry.Qualifications/Skills Required:QuickBooks Online expert with onboarding and cleanup experience. 2-5 years of accounting, bookkeeping or related field with a solid understanding of basic accounting principles. A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and to learn new software quickly. A strong work ethic with excellent analytical, organization, and communication skills. Manage multiple responsibilities, deadlines, commitments, and work efficiently with minimal supervision. Must be a self-directed and highly motivated individual who works well with others. Leadership experience preferred. Treat confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Strong analytical, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills with an ability to take appropriate actions without being asked. Must be able to pass a background check. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Support and participate in firm initiatives, build positive client relationships, gain knowledge and skills around client industries served and recognize additional client service opportunities. Monitor team workflow and delivery of services for assigned client projects to assure quality delivery. Ability to easily prepare and read financial information, make corrections, and determine the financial strength of an organization. Meet with members of your team regularly to discuss their needs and progress with clients and to provide team back-up, training and coaching/mentoring. Assist in the onboarding of new team members and clients. Earn and maintain QBO Advanced status and other certifications as deemed necessary for job performance and ongoing education. Develop knowledge and skills on specialized apps and solutions for job performance and client needs. Research and keep up to date with current issues and legislative changes that may affect our client members. Respond to client requests/questions within 24 hours. Keep Outlook calendar current with obligations. Assist in client retention, growth opportunities, and other ad hoc projects as they come up.
