We welcome qualified applications from all backgrounds regardless of gender, disability, ethnic background, race, religion, belief or sexual orientation.TitleAccounting AssociateJob PurposeThe main role of the Accounting Associate is to provide strong technical and analytical skills including intermediate to advanced Excel (especially the use of Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs, IFERRORs, etc).Main Duties And ResponsibilitiesUse Microsoft Excel to perform the daily billing and weekly invoicing of all clients; where agreedEnsuring that additional charges are captured in client billingDistribute invoices to clients on a weekly and monthly basisPerform complex reconciliation and uploads of invoices to the BMS and Novartis systemsReview of Gross Margin to ensure the accuracy of invoice allocation and costs estimated and highlight or taking corrective active to any profit or loss outside the normal marginIdentifying and reviewing cost variances against tariffs and estimates to Accounts ManagerUpdating of customer templates to ensure correct PO/protocols/studies and improving on the existing billing processLiaising with GSO and the other branches suppliers in securing credit notes for over or under chargesIssuing credits and rebillsCompleting ad hoc duties as required.RequirementsAssociate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or FinanceProficiency in applications (in particular Excel, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS, SUMIFs, IFERRORs, Outlook, & etc.)Good command of EnglishAbility to work independently & under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong team, and individual management skillsA minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounting or billing.Marken is a wholly owned subsidiary of UPS and is a critical part of UPS Healthcare.
