We are currently looking for a remote Accountant to join our team. This position requires a strong understanding of the US market and proficiency in utilizing the QuickBooks. We offer a competitive salary paid in US dollars; experienced team; open-minded management; ability to work 100% remotely. The skills you should have:Upper-Intermediate level of EnglishBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Proven experience as an Accountant on the US market.In-depth knowledge and proficiency in using the QuickBooks software.Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Medium/Advanced Excel skills.Yardi knowledge is a plus.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Familiarity with relevant accounting standards and regulations.What is the work schedule:We are ready to offer a part-time position (20 hours per week) at the beginning with the possibility to increase the workload to full-time (40 hours per week). What would be your responsibilities:Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process.Data entry: Recording financial transactions and balancing the books.Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers' ledger, customer ledger and general ledger.Bring the books to the trial balance stage.Enter data, maintain records, and lunch reports and financial statements.Document financial transaction details and monitor the transactions.Process accounts receivable/payable.Prepare and file financial documents.Financial reporting (income statements, balance sheet), adjusting entries, budgeting. Monthly reports: Summarizing the business’s financial position.Cross-reference the books against bank statements and other source documents to confirm accuracy.
