Brief description of TBPeopleUkraine TB implementation activities within the project

Implementation of the Mechanism of Multisectoral Cooperation and Accountability on Tuberculosis Issues (MBSP-TB) in Ukraine, developed WHO for the elimination of tuberculosis. Within the scope of the project, the organization conducts a baseline assessment based on the MBSP-TB checklist and three appendices covering interagency interaction, civil society involvement, and adaptation of WHO guidelines. The obtained results will become the basis for the development of multisectoral action plans aimed at strengthening political support, taking into account social determinants of health and the development of people-oriented approaches in the field of combating tuberculosis, will contribute to the strengthening of intersectoral interaction and coordination between state authorities, specialized institutions and the public sector.

Main job duties

• Accounting in accordance with the legislation of the organization.>

• Preparation of analytical reports and reports at the request of management or donors.

• Providing advice to employees of the organization regarding financial procedures and accounting.

• Preparation of financial report based on results of the project.

Requirements for candidates

• Higher education in accounting, finance or of economics.

• Experience as an accountant (at least 2 years).

• Knowledge of accounting and tax system.

  Ability to work with accounting programs (for example, BAF, M.E.Doc, Excel).

• Ability to work with tables and databases (Excel, Google Sheets or similar tools).

• Experience with international/donor projects (will be an advantage).

• Proficiency in the Ukrainian language; working knowledge of English (preferred).

• Responsibility, attention to detail, meeting deadlines.
