Objective of the contest

Selection of a project accountant to ensure proper preparation, maintenance and systematization of primary accounting documentation, as well as timely and high-quality formation of financial reporting within the project in accordance with project goals, internal procedures of TBPeopleUkraine BO and Public Health Alliance MBF.

Main job duties:

  • Accounting within the scope of project implementation in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine and internal procedures of the organization.

  • Preparation and verification of primary financial documents (invoices, contracts, acts of completed works).

  • Monthly reconciliation with counterparties.

  • Control and record keeping of charitable assistance.

  • Reconciliation and write-off of SME.

  • Control over the movement of fixed assets.

  • Participation in internal and external audits.

  • Preparation of analytical reports and reports at the request of management or donors.

  • Providing advice to employees of the organization regarding financial procedures and accounting.

  • Preparation of primary documentation and other materials for financial reports, etc.

Requirements for candidates

  • Higher education in accounting, finance or economics.

  • Work experience in a similar position/accountant (at least 2 years).

  • Knowledge of Ukrainian legislation on accounting and the tax system.

  • Ability to work with accounting programs (for example, BAF, M.E.Doc, Excel).

  • Ability to work with tables and databases (Excel, Google Sheets or similar tools).

  • Experience in preparing primary documentation.

  • Experience of working with international/donor projects (will be an advantage).

  • Proficiency in Ukrainian; knowledge of English at a basic level (preferred).

  • Responsibility, attention to detail, meeting deadlines.

By signing and submitting their commercial proposal, the participant agrees to the following:

  • the participant is familiar with this announcement;
  • the organization is not obliged to accept the best price offer or any of the received offers until the signing of the procurement contract;
  • the organization does not have any obligations towards the procurement participants or potential procurement participants;
  • the organization reserves the right to reject commercial offers of all participants in the procurement procedure;
  • participation in the competition of related persons or collusion of the participants of the competition is prohibited. If such facts are discovered, the results of the competition will be canceled or the contract with the relevant supplier will be prematurely terminated unilaterally with the return of everything received by such supplier under the contract and compensation for damages;
  • the organization reserves the right to engage several consultants from the same area.
  • The organizers of the competition reserve the right to replace the selected candidate in case of poor performance of project tasks.

IMPORTANT

  • Documents sent after the specified application deadline will not be considered.

  • Those candidates will be invited to the online interview, who will be pre-selected based on consideration of the resume and information specified in Appendix 1 to this announcement.

  • The winner of the competition will be notified no later than 10 working days after the end of the competition.
