The International Charity Fund Nova Ukraine has been systematically providing humanitarian aid for 10 years Ukraine. Our team works to ensure that every dollar of donations from American citizens and partners goes to help Ukraine through the implementation of projects and initiatives in the areas of medical care, education, infrastructure and energy, advocacy and culture, animal assistance, evacuation, etc. During this time, we have provided humanitarian aid worth over 100 million dollars.

We are looking for a responsible specialist for the position of Accountant , who is ready to take on important functions of accounting and control over the financial operations of our organization in close cooperation with other accountants and lawyers.

Duties and responsibilities:

• posting of goods and services;
• checking of primary documents for the correctness of their filling and compliance with the terms of the contract;
• accounting of settlements with accountable persons (up to 5 operations per month);
• accounting of project costs in a separate direction;
• write-off of TMC;
• control over the return of original documents from counterparties;
• control of receivables and payables;
• carrying out reconciliations with counterparties;
• power of attorney statement (up to 10 per month);
• fuel accounting (1 car);
• accounting of expenses according to their categories for compiling the budget-fact;
• help in closing cases.

Requirements for the candidate:

• complete higher education according to the profile;
• work experience in a similar position from 2 years;
• confident user of MS Office (Excel, Word);
• responsibility, diligence, ability to learn quickly, attentiveness;
• desire to work in the humanitarian field and support the mission of the organization;
• relevant experience working in a charity organization and a level of English at Pre-Intermediate (A2) level and above would be an advantage.
