We are a small and close-knit team in Kyiv (Ukraine), which ensures that daily operations are carried out in the company's ERP system (SAP). We cooperate with the Global Service Center of Group Companies (GSSC), located in Krakow (Poland), which collects and analyzes financial data for managementof Electrolux Group.

Part of our task is also to support our colleagues in Krakow with knowledge of local Ukrainian legislation, being a kind of bridge between local business (with its partners) and GSSC.

What are you going to do? /strong>:

 

Your main focus will be on ensuring timely, efficient and reliable processing of accounting transactions, together with preparation of corporate, statistical and tax reporting. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving, checking, scanning, archiving primary accounting documents, checking the correctness of incoming accounting documents
  • Working with electronic document management (service Vchasno/M.E.doc/Komarkh )
  • Accounting with suppliers and buyers
  • Accounting of advance reports (receipt, verification, control, archiving)
  • Preparation of acts of reconciliation with suppliers, analysis and solving issues related to payments and debts and other issues from suppliers
  • Making payments
  • Coordinating processes for fixed assets (purchase, liquidation, sale), taking part in inventory
  • Managing period closing procedures
  • Providing financial information to various relevant internal and external parties
  • Participating in the preparation and submission of statistical and tax reporting in accordance with Ukrainian legislation in accordance with IFRS.
  • Verification of VAT tax liability, participation in the formation and registration of tax invoices and adjustment calculations
  • Ensuring that all processes/works are reflected in internal procedures. Participate in updating internal procedures with GSSO (local accounting team) and GSSC
  • Support and coordinate GSSO/GSSC work processes.

Additionalresponsibilities for < /within the limits of standard positions >responsibilities:

  • Active support in the execution of the listed processes when necessary (related to specific knowledge of local legislation)
  • Ensuring continuous improvement of the productivity and quality of the work process
  • Participating in the modification of IT systems for accounting purposes in cooperation with the IT and controlling departments
  • Provision of proposals for optimization of accounting processes
  • Transfer knowledge and skills acquired while working within the GSSO department to the GSSC

Qualification strong>requirements:

  • Higher education in the field of accounting/finance , taxation
  • Minimum one year of work experience in accounting (settlement with suppliers/customers/general ledger/tax accounting, etc.)
  • Fluent Ukrainian language, basic knowledge of English (in including passing an interview)
  • Experienced user of MS office, M.E.doc and any ERP system

Details vacancy:

You will report to the Chief Accountant and be based in our office in Kyiv, located in the SP Hall Business Center, Stepan Bandera Avenue 28A (near the Pochaina metro station).

Currently, you will work remotely from home, with the possibility of visiting the office if necessary.

This is a temporary position for 1.5 years, with a good prospect of becoming a permanent position later.
