CORE is present in Ukraine, Poland and Romania to support the critical needs of refugees in Poland and Romania and IDPs in Ukraine. Our programs focus on activities related to providing housing, funds and food security/support to IDPs throughout Ukraine. CORE works in partnership with local NGOs and the government, and coordinates with international agencies, international NGOs and other actors working in the humanitarian field.

Responsibilities of the Accountability Assistant:

Responsibilities of the Accountability Assistant:

  • Participate in the identification and verification process for the selection of beneficiaries under the guidance of the MEAL Manager.
  • Participate directly in implementing accountability and adaptability as a primary interlocutor with affected populations and beneficiaries, using listening strategies and behavioral mindfulness.
  • Identify cases for referral to other institutions/service providers.
  • Participate in baseline and final examinations under the direction of the MEAL manager.
  • Implement an accountability mechanism for planned activities and post-allocation monitoring under the leadership of the MEAL Manager.
  • Respond to beneficiary complaints in accordance with the complaints and feedback mechanism.
  • Under the coordination of the MEAL Manager, engage with beneficiaries and other stakeholders to ensure that beneficiaries are heard and engaged in the programming process.
  • Perform the duties of the hotline operator for receiving and processing complaints or suggestions, in accordance with the developed SOP.
  • Report to Activity info, Sidar, building blocks databases
  • Requirements:

    • Higher degree in Social Sciences, Health or Statistics (preferred).
    • Experience in the MEAL/Accountability sector or experience in conducting research, by surveying among the affected population.
    • Practical experience of working in humanitarian organizations for 6 months or more.
    • Proficiency in English at the B1 level (will be an advantage).

    • Experience with CRM systems or databases.
    • Skills with MS Office programs.
