This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and efficiency of all engineering operations. RESPONSIBILITIES Assist the Chief Engineer in the maintenance and operation of main propulsion and auxiliary systems. Regularly inspect boilers, engineering systems, and machinery for potential issues and perform preventative maintenance. Maintain and repair pumps, compressors, generators, and other mechanical and electrical equipment. Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental policies and procedures. Monitor the engine room and other technical spaces. Keep accurate records of engineering service operations and report any abnormalities.
