Our mission is to push the boundaries of imagination and technology to create unforgettable games.Position Overview:We are seeking a talented Mid-Level 3D Artist with a special focus on character creation and hair modeling to enrich our creative team. Your expertise will play a crucial role in bringing to life the characters that populate our diverse game worlds. Proficiency in Blender for 3D modeling and a knack for rigging and preparing models for game engines like Unreal Engine and Unity are highly desired.Core Responsibilities:Design and model detailed 3D characters, with a particular emphasis on realistic hair creation.Utilize Blender for modeling, texturing, and preparing character assets for animation.Collaborate with the animation team to rig characters and ensure models are ready for motion.Optimize character models for integration into game engines, specifically Unreal Engine and Unity, maintaining a balance between visual quality and performance.Engage with the creative team to ensure character designs align with game narratives and visual aesthetics.Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:Strong proficiency in 3D modeling and texturing, specifically using Blender.Demonstrated experience in creating detailed character models, with an emphasis on realistic hair.Knowledge of character rigging and skinning techniques.Experience with exporting and optimizing models for Unreal Engine and Unity.Ability to work collaboratively within a creative team environment.A portfolio showcasing your character creation skills, including examples of hair modeling.Nice-to-Have:Experience in character animation.Familiarity with additional 3D modeling and animation tools.Understanding of the latest trends in 3D character design, especially within the gaming industry.Additional Information:This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to a wide range of gaming projects, from mobile games to immersive VR experiences.
