2024 Cubist Hackathon in Point72

Cubist Systematic Strategies HackathonCubist is proud to present its second annual hackathon, taking place on April 26-27 at our offices in New York. Participants will collaborate in teams to build a program using a large publicly available NY-focused dataset and present their projects to a panel of judges. If you’re passionate about building algorithms to solve real-world problems, this event is a great opportunity to showcase your coding skills and innovative thinking. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams.About CubistCubist Systematic Strategies, an affiliate of Point72, deploys systematic, computer-driven trading strategies across multiple liquid asset classes, including equities, futures and foreign exchange. The core of our effort is rigorous research into a wide range of market anomalies, fueled by our unparalleled access to a wide range of publicly available data sources.This is a hackathon event so please disregard the salary range below.The annual base salary range for this role is $0-$1 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package.
