Job overview

Ensures timely procurement and delivery of services, materials, equipment and supplies in the right quantity and quality to support ongoing and anticipated business activity. Serves as supply chain interface to program and product teams, aligning integrated supply chain resources and solutions with business needs. Ensures timely identification and resolution of issues relating to material shortages, abundance, quality and delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Administers an effective program to determine and provide necessary quantities and inventory levels of materials and supplies.
• Maintains planned inventory levels that are consistent with production need.
• Accountable for preparation of and disposition of excess and obsolete materials.
• Schedules Manufacturing and Material operations in accordance with approved schedules and monitoring of such.
• Implements approved master schedules through manufacturing and marketing meetings.
• Develops innovative scheduling strategies for shortest possible lead times.
• Responsible for accurate receipt and disbursement of material.
• Assists in preparation of annual budget for materials management.

Qualifications:

• Education or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Materials Management.
• Good business English skills (Written and spoken).
